Home

I have been a little artistically stuck since I have graduated . No one is telling me what kind of work to make anymore which is both liberating and overwhelming. I'm finally starting to feel creative again and starting a new body of work called Home and also Away.

Sturgis Falls Paper Flowers

Sunday I was invited to be a part of Sturgis Falls, by a fellow artist Lisa Klenske. She had an art tent this year and asked me if I would like to sell some things too. I didn't have much notice but I did have some earrings and nick nacks hanging around from past conventions so I said sure. And you know I didn't do too bad.

I also made these paper flowers, they have a pin and hair clip back so they can work as a broach or a hair accessory. They are also coated with clear spray paint so they are water resistant.

My Brother's Graduation!

My brother graduated from high school this year! Way to go Ian! I wanted to give him something to take to college that was some what practical so I decorated a lamp for him.

Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there! My parents have been considering getting a new puppy so this is the card I made my dad this year. For a gift I also gave my dad some lawn spray to guard against puppy spots and some bitter spray to stop puppies from chewing things. I gave my mom some chew toys also. I think they were pretty surprised.

The inside of the card said If you decide to get a dog, no matter what kind, you are going to need a couple of things, Happy Father's Day!

I'm going to updating my blog soon too! I have been very busy creating new things and graduating so stay tuned!
