T2 Will Work for Doughnuts

I entered the T2 Will Work for Doughnuts internship competition last friday and today they announced the three finalist, and while my video was not selected, two of the three were KCAI animation alumni. Congratulations to Adam Buritsch and Dan Buck and good luck to both of you on phase two! You can check out all the submissions here.

To enter we had to make a 20-45 second info graphic animation that describes who we are at the core of our person without using conventional descriptions such as name, age, gender, ethnicity, or specific life experiences. Here is what I came up with.

Security Envelope Collection

After I saw this blog post on the Paper Source website I realized that I needed to continue my security envelop collection. I'm pretty excited about it and am planning doing some illustrations with them soon!

Preview

A preview of things to come. I got a critique from a professional Illustration magazine saying that my blog was too student-ish and that I should have a more professional website. So I have been working on getting one put together. Unfortunately this means I will have to get some new business cards made up. I have also been sprucing up the old portfolio and job hunting. It feels strange to not go back to school this year.

Packrats-Final

This is my final senior thesis film. I did and made everything myself right down to the floorboards except the music. The music was composed and played by Bryn Sumner, recorded by both of us and mixed by me. Thanks to my classmates, professors, and parents for their support.

Singh Commission

This is a fauxlaroid commission I did for my friend Sakari's mom. It was originally from my Venice fauxlaroid tryptic but she requested that I also include the Star of David.
